Born in London in 1979, Toby Cohen earned his BA Degree at UWE in Bristol.
He began his career in 2001 working as a photojournalist and private photographer of society and the stars.
This taught him the value of quick shutter work at any expense.
He now lives as an artist in London and Tel Aviv. He exhibits in museums and galleries internationally.
Toby enjoys spearfishing in the Mediterranean Sea,
He loves running along the beach and scuba diving in the Red Sea.
In Israel, he is represented by the Engel Gallery of Tel Aviv. The Tel Aviv Museum of Art will be exhibiting a video work
in the near future. His current project is inspired by the story of Abraham and the eternal aesthetic of the Negev desert. This will also be shown
at the Engel Gallery.
