Born in London, Toby Cohen earned his BA Degree in Bristol. He began his career in 2001 working as a photojournalist and private photographer of society and the stars. He now lives as an artist between London and Tel Aviv. He exhibits in museums and galleries internationally.
In Israel, he is represented by the Engel Gallery of Tel Aviv. The Tel Aviv Museum of Art currently has one of his works on display. He also has a piece of work in the private collection of Prince Charles.
His current project is inspired by the biblical prophet Moses and eight important events that occurred during his lifetime. In conjunction with the Moses project an award winning independent filmmaker is making a documentary about the production of these eight images.
